Celebrated Experiences Launches Italy Hotel Portfolio

This morning, Celebrated Experiences announced that it had launched a new division and would help agents and advisors book top-tier hotels in Italy. "Over the past few months, more advisors than ever have asked us to help them in Italy," Jonathan Epstein, the company's owner told Luxury Travel Advisor, adding that high-end agents want to be able to book top-tier hotels on their credit cards without pre-paying and don't want to chase commissions--all of which, he says, is not a problem with his company. (Clients' credit card numbers can hold a reservation and Celebrated handles the commissions.)

"Also, Italian hoteliers have expressed their support for how we do business," Epstein added. "They have spoken to their peers in the UK and Ireland are eager for their properties to become a Celebrated Hotel." The process for handpicking hotels is "very similar" for how Celebrated selects its UK and Ireland hotels, he added. "We love properties that feel like the destination and have a true sense of place."

Celebrated's Italian hotel portfolio will include:

Tuscany: Castello del Nero and Palazzo Leopoldo
Venice: Ai Reali, Ca' Sagredo, Palazzo Stern and Hotel Metropole
Rome: Hotel Bernini Bristol and Hotel Barocco
Florence: Hotel De La Ville and Grand Hotel Villa Medici
Italian Riviera: Grand Hotel Miramare
The Lakes: Palazzo del Vice Re

Celebrated has four dedicated "Destination Experts" with a combined 50 years of working on Italy travel, he continued, and the team will inspect each hotel each year to make sure it is living up to expectations. Agents can reach out to Lorri D'Amico, Margaret Baker, Anna Dunaeva Longfellow and Sue Terry.

"I have actually been surprised at how smooth everything has been," Epstein said about the creation of the new division. "We are lucky to have quickly hired a team that includes Lorri D’Amico and Margaret Baker, two of the world’s best experts on Italy.  In just three weeks, we already have over 30 properties in our Collection, and more hotels are reaching out to us each day."
