If you can take a moment to pull your attention out of Switzerland (where The Chedi Andermatt is churning up a ton of buzz) and shift your gaze over to Bali, you will see another Chedi property that is about to enter the mix.
We've got confirmation that The Chedi Sakala is steering toward a grand opening at the end of February.
The 261-room resort will have 247 suites, each with two bedrooms and ocean views. The 14 pool villas will have infinity pools with built-in whirlpools and full kitchens.
Sakala Bali, one of the resort's restaurants, opened two years ago on the resort's grounds and serves up French culinary treats. As a complement, The Restaurant will serve up Asian and European fare. Half the menu is dedicated to the interpretation of faves from Indonesia, India, Thailand, China and Japan, while the other half is based on cuisine from the Med.
Expected to debut in the spring will be the spa facility. There will also be a Kids' Club and Club Lounge.
