In Aspen this Valentine's Day? We say take your honey to Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE at The St. Regis Aspen Resort. (We ate there this summer, so we can say with certainty that it's a great way to woo that special someone.)
On February 14, in addition to the restaurant's a la carte menu, the chefs will be serving up distinctive dishes created by a hand-picked group of FOOD & Wine's "Best New Chefs."
The special features grilled prime rib and lobster served with a golden potato puree and tarragon emulsion. Other dishes on the a la carte menu include Fromage Blanc Agnolotti with preserved lemon leek, fine herbs and bread crumbs; Farroto with Squash with King Trumpet mushrooms, Guinea hen egg and sage; and Grilled Venison, Beet Ember served with sour cream and lightly cooked kale. To pair with the seasonally inspired menu selections, Chefs Club offers a long list of wines.
What is V-day without something sweet? Try the Chocolate and Strawberries for Two, Dark Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Gelee.
