Coral Reef Redux: Beach House Maldives Launches Regeneration Project

BeachHouseMaldives

Planting a tree and adopting a highway may have gone the way of acid wash jeans and scrunchies. Fortunately Beach House Maldives, a Waldorf Astoria Resort is bringing conservation back into fashion. We hear the luxury resort is involved in a coral reef regeneration project that allows guests to select and 'plant' a small area of coral reef in the Indian Ocean.

Nice touch: Guests can follow the progress of their reef by logging into a dedicated website where they watch it as it grows throughout the years.
