NEW YORK CITY, New York -- Luxury Travel Advisor sat down Tuesday with Arturo Garcia Rosa, president of HVS Argentina, president of the South American Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference and senior partner of HVS Global Hospitality Services, and learned that both Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Sofitel Luxury Hotels are looking into expansions in Lima, Peru.

Rosa says both projects are still about 1-2 years away from being finalized. He expects both projects to be finished about three years after they are officially approved. Garcia says both will be mixed-use projects offering both private residences and a hotel component. Both projects will consists of about 200 rooms, he says.

This will add to an already-robust luxury hotel market in Lima that also includes the Country Club Lima Hotel, Hotel Paracas, Miraflores Park Hotel, Hotel B Lima, Delfines Hotel and Casin, the Royal Park Hotel Lima and Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores.
