Exclusive: Karisma Plans to Add 200 Premium Suites to El Dorado Seaside Suites Resort in 2015

El Dorado Seaside Suites will add 200 premium suites by the middle of 2015

Luxury Travel Advisor chatted with representatives of Karisma Hotels & Resorts last week and got the skinny on the company's plans to expand its El Dorado Seaside Suites in Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico, by the middle of 2015.

Jose Martinez, owner of El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels, told us nearly $20 million will be invested in the property. Plans calls for the addition of 200 premium suites, all of which will have a full-sized infinity swimming pool on the top floor.

"This property has a lot of repeat guests, but if someone comes back to the same hotel over and over and never sees anything new, they might not come back the next time," Martinez says. "So, we feel it's very important to show your guests you are constantly improving the hotel, investing in it."
