We’re still just a few days away from the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea’s official unveiling of its newly renovated suites, but Luxury Travel Advisor already got our hands on the photos and got the skinny on the upgraded rooms.

The hotel completed a $3 million renovation this month of the popular Maile suite and introduced  the new Lokelani presidential/residential three-bedroom suites, just in time to welcome summer clients.

The two suites—the largest on the property and said by the hotel to be the largest in Hawaii—received a complete make over. Long favorites for discerning VIPs seeking maximum privacy, the two luxury suites have always been known for their posh, yet comfortable island design and décor.

Note: Both are suitable to host families and small groups requiring multiple bedrooms. While designed differently and located separately within the resort, each suite provides a view of the Pacific Ocean. Nice Touch: A private assistant is assigned to suite guests to handle logistics.

With this remake of the Maile and the Lokelani, new complimentary guest services and amenities have been woven into the ultimate suite stay.  These include double round trip transfers via the Uber Black Car service in guests’ home destination and a Four Seasons Resort Maui luxurious eco-friendly Tesla or private SUV; laundry service throughout the stay, a private chef customized dinner in the suite or at a picturesque venue at the resort and use of a rental car.

The Maile is 5,000 square feet while the Lokelani is more than 4,500 square feet plus a 2,400 square foot outdoor living area and a 2,500 square-foot private lawn and garden. The Maile is set above Wailea Beach in the Oceanfront Tower. The Lokelani is on a lower floor and has its own expansive lawn and private outdoor garden facing the Pacific.

The three-bedroom Maile suite has large living and dining rooms with views of the ocean. Nice Touch: Framing the entry is a floor-to-ceiling screen of colorful geodes reflecting warm hues onto the teak wood floors.

The three-bedroom Lokelani features a large private outdoor living space, furnished with sunning, lounging, exercising and dining areas and by two fire pit lounges with seating for up to 16 persons. All in all, the suite achieves a refreshing feel of indoor/outdoor elegance with vivid art juxtaposed with creative and selected armoires, tables, lighting fixtures and other unique pieces. A game room and kitchenette are also included.
