Fashion in Paris: Stella McCartney's Latest Collection at Le Bristol's High Tea

Stella McCartney Spring 2012 Collection at Le BristolLe Bristol isn’t just known for its Michelin three-star restaurant, its new spa by La Prairie, and its elegant bar where President Sarkozy likes to bring his cabinet for meetings. The first luxury hotel to be granted the official “palace” distinction by the French government this year, Le Bristol is also known for its “Fashion High Teas.” While you indulge in a decadent afternoon ritual, couture-clad models walk the catwalk set up in the bar. The next such event will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. when Stella McCartney will showcase her latest collection at Le Bristol.

Held on select Saturdays throughout the year to recognize the fashion houses whose boutiques surround the hotel on the world-famous rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, “Fashion High Tea” has become a sought after venue for top designers. (Celine, Yves Saint-Laurent, Givenchy and Chloé have all showcased their collections at Le Bristol.) The cost is 55 euros per person and includes beautiful pastries and finger sandwiches created by Pastry Chef Laurent Jeannin, paired with your choice of 15 blends of English tea from the finest plantations in Asia, hand selected by the Tea-Drinkers Club. Reservations to attend the “Fashion High Tea” should be made in advance by calling +33 1 53 43 43 42.
