Fresh from winning a third Michelin star for their restaurant, Flocons de Sel (translated as “salt flakes”) has just added a new luxury suite to their charming accommodations in Megève. (We profiled the restaurant-hotel in the May 2011 issue of Luxury Travel Advisor; the spa is noteworthy because the treatments are inspired by the chef’s culinary style.)
Encompassing 160 square meters, the new suite reflects its setting in the French Alps with its warm wood paneling and refined alpine décor. More like a private apartment, it has two double rooms, two single rooms, and a lounge with an open kitchen—all overlooking the beautiful Megève Valley. There’s also a private garden.
