This month Four Seasons ended its management contract with the Terre Blanche Resort in the south of France. The resort, owned by Terre Blanche Management SAS (“TBM”), is now self-managed. No news on whether another management company will be recruited in Four Seasons' place.
Built like a Provençal village surrounded by 750 acres of rolling countryside, the luxury resort is a destination for serious golfers and spa enthusiasts. Just a half-hour from the Cote d’Azur, the estate itself was once owned by Sean Connery.
Guests can tee off on two championship par-72 18-hole golf courses designed by Dave Thomas, or get some tips from the pros at the Albatros Performance Center (a David Ledbetter Academy). The spa is extensive- spanning 35,000 square feet- and has 14 treatment rooms, gardens, and indoor and outdoor pools. Other resort facilities include tennis courts, a large infinity pool, and a Kids Club.
The Terre Blanche Resort is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. For more information, visit www.terre-blanche.com.
