Four Seasons No Longer Manages Terre Blanche in Provence

Terre Blanche Resort, Provence, FranceThis month Four Seasons ended its management contract with the Terre Blanche Resort in the south of France. The resort, owned by Terre Blanche Management SAS (“TBM”), is now self-managed. No news on whether another management company will be recruited in Four Seasons' place.

Built like a Provençal village surrounded by 750 acres of rolling countryside, the luxury resort is a destination for serious golfers and spa enthusiasts. Just a half-hour from the Cote d’Azur, the estate itself was once owned by Sean Connery.

Guests can tee off on two championship par-72 18-hole golf courses designed by Dave Thomas, or get some tips from the pros at the Albatros Performance Center (a David Ledbetter Academy). The spa is extensive- spanning 35,000 square feet- and has 14 treatment rooms, gardens, and indoor and outdoor pools. Other resort facilities include tennis courts, a large infinity pool, and a Kids Club.

The Terre Blanche Resort is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. For more information, visit www.terre-blanche.com.
