Four Seasons to Manage The Nam Hai in Vietnam

The Nam Hai

Four Seasons continues its aggressive expansion strategy with the announcement that it will take over management of The Nam Hai resort in Hoi An starting December 20. Previously run by GHM Hotels—the prestigious hospitality company behind The Chedi Andermaat in Switzerland—The Nam Hai is long considered one of the finest beach resorts in Vietnam.

Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage site with rich cultural treasures (temples, merchant houses) in the Old Town. Just 15 minutes from Hoi An, The Nam Hai has private residences and 60 newly renovated villas—all equipped with outdoor showers, and 40 with private pools—surrounded by lush gardens and reflecting pools.

Facilities include three cascading swimming pools overlooking the beach, a spa designed by Reda Amalou, tennis, basketball courts, and a fitness center. Soon a variety of water sports will be added to the recreational activities. (Yoga and meditation are already offered in an al fresco lounge.)

This will be the first Four Seasons property in Vietnam, which J. Allen Smith, President and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, affirmed “is an important growth market.”
