Four Seasons to Stop Management of Uruguay Resort

Four Seasons Carmelo Resort, Uruguay

At the end of March, Four Seasons will no longer manage the Four Seasons Resort Carmelo. Considered the top resort in Uruguay, the property is located across the Rio de la Plata from Buenos Aires. It’s just a short ride by hydrofoil ferry to the town of Carmelo, which is surrounded by picturesque vineyards, grassy plains, and colonial buildings.

Four Seasons and Hotel Corporation of Uruguay S.A., the owner of the resort, made the announcement last month. The name of the new management company has not yet been released, but the property will continue to be operated as a luxury resort.
