Want to make an impression on your top clients? Consider this as a holiday gift: A six-bottle case of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1911 has gone on sale in luxury London department store Harrods.
The Drinks Business is reporting that the case is retailing for £65,000 ($101,965), just under £11,000 ($17,255) per bottle. Only 11 cases are available. One of the cases was auctioned at a gala dinner in Shanghai in September, raising a reported $100,000 for charity.
Noted by the then-Moët cellar master as a “memorable” year, we hear 1911’s conditions were perfect for champagne grapes.
