Heart Ibiza: A New Venue From Cirque du Soleil and the Adrià Brothers

Back in February, we heard rumors about a fabulous new project from Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and the Adrià brothers of el Bulli gastronomic fame. Slated to open this summer on the sizzling hot Spanish island of Ibiza, HEART Ibiza is a new venue that’s billed as a “creative collision between food, music, and art.” It’s situated inside the Ibiza Grand Hotel, and will have three distinctive experiences.

The Baraka is a “hippie chic take on street food markets” with live art performances on an outside terrace - as described on the official Facebook page. The Workshop offers a seated food service pairing molecular gastronomy with visual and performance art, while La Boîte is a live music venue that’s designed to be one of the hottest nightlife destinations on the island. The project has been over 10 years in the making, and its summer debut is already the talk of Ibiza town.
