The Homestead in Virginia Preps to Reveal Big Transformation

The Homestead in Hot Springs, VirginiaVirginia’s storied destination resort-- welcoming guests (including 22 U.S. Presidents) to its natural hot springs since 1766-- will be revealing a $25 million renovation this summer. The crème de la crème of the resort-wide enhancements will be the brand spanking new spa; The Homestead is aiming to create a “world-class holistic retreat” when the wellness center debuts with 29 renovated treatments rooms and a new fitness center centered around the geothermal baths.

What’s more, a two-acre family adventure area called Allegheny Springs will offer three 100-foot water slides, a 400-foot lazy river, and a sandy beach. There will also be new restaurants and bars, and golfers of all skill levels will be able to tee off on the new Mini Cascades golf course.

Set on 3,000 acres in the Allegheny Mountains of southwestern Virginia, The Homestead has a wide array of recreational activities including three championship golf courses, a downhill ski area, a 48-stable Equestrian enter, and a Shooting Club.
