Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris Opens Pop-Up "Bubble"

Hotel du Collectionneur, Paris

The bubble is back. L’Hôtel du Collectionneur has launched (or shall we say, inflated?) a transparent boule on the Andalou Patio, the hotel’s pretty courtyard garden. Back by popular demand, the bubble—illuminated with lights and stars—is a magical setting for afternoon tea and cocktails during the festive season.

The hotel teamed up with Fauchon, the celebrated gourmet maison, to provide the sweet pastries for the Afternoon Tea. When night falls, the bubble opens a champagne bar featuring the Moët & Chandon “Grand Vintage” Collection. To pair with the bubbly, the hotel offers a selection of exclusive canapés dreamt up by Michelin-starred chefs including Maxime Meilleur (Savoie), Olivier Nasti (Alsace), Jean-Marie Baudic (Normandy), and Guillaume Sourrieu (Provence-Côte d'Azur). There are also creative cocktails (like the “1,000 stars”)

Located at 51-57 rue de Courcelles in the 8th arrondissement in Paris, L’Hôtel du Collectionneur is the largest independent five-star hotel in France with 478 rooms and suites. The bubble will be available through mid-March 2015.
