Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris Hosts Secret Dinner

This autumn the palace hotel on the avenue Montaigne in Paris has been hosting secret dinners that have tongues wagging. While guests at Hotel Plaza Athénée enjoy a Michelin three-starred meal by candlelight, they get to ooh and ahh over a magic show by celebrated illusionist Stefan Leyshon. As recently highlighted by Vogue magazine, the show is “based on the performance work of two of the country’s most iconic magicians from the late 1800s and early 1900s: Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin and Georges Méliès.” It’s a contemporary take on classics like mind reading and levitation.

Hotel Plaza Athénée will stage the last in the series of dinners on Saturday, December 3 from 7 pm - 11 pm. The price is 295€, and can be reserved on www.dinersecret.com.
