The Iniala Group, known for its ultra-luxurious, design-driven Beach House in Phuket, will be opening a stylish hotel in Malta next year. Founded by British entrepreneur Mark Weingard, Iniala is also famed for its philanthropic mission. In Valetta, the UNESCO-listed capital of Malta, Iniala has a number of projects, including apartment buildings and a flagship hotel with 20 suites and three luxury apartments.

Slated to open in summer 2017 on St. Barbara Bastion, the boutique hotel will echo the design-centric hospitality experience of the Phuket property; world-famous designers like Autoban from Turkey and A-Cero from Spain were recruited to decorate the interiors. The hotel is billed as “offering a completely new product to the Maltese hotel market.”

Iniala Group is currently investing a lot in Malta; the Group is behind the “Dinner in the Sky” culinary experience above Valletta, and it’s also an official sponsor of the Valletta Football Club.
