Under the Volcano
Iceland is famous for a few things: fermented fish delicacies, WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange’s hideout, pop star Björk. Oh, and a testy volcano. Now, you too can see what all the fuss is about from a unique vantage point—underwater, scuba diving between tectonic plates. This is the Silfra Rift Dive, operated by tour outfit Black Tomato. Intrepid adventurers are driven to the Silfra Rift in Thingvellir National Park after a day in Reykjavík. There they suit up and dive into the glacial crystal clear water, down until they are between tectonic plates: the Eurasian tectonic plate on the left; the American plate on the right—volley’d and thunder’d! BMW by Trussardi
What do you get when you cross an Italian fashion house with a luxury car company? Why, a bespoke vehicle, of course. This is just the case with Trussardi and BMW. The former is celebrating its centennial this year, and has partnered with “Bimmer” to create a special limited-edition 5 Series Gran Turismo in honor of the landmark. 
The car is painted in what we hear is called “Heraldic Brown” (think gold, but darker and richer) with burnished 20-inch alloy wheels. The Trussardi logo—a greyhound in the center of a heraldic coat of arms—appears on the front fenders. Inside, the car is upholstered in rich beige leather that is meant to evoke Trussardi’s signature gloves. We hear that the car has 245 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 in less than seven seconds. Perfect if you need to speed home for a quick wardrobe change.
Flying the Private Skies
Happy news for those out there who like to fly independently and privately (that’s everyone, right?): Delta Private Jets has added six aircraft to its fleet of modern business jets. The new aircraft include a Hawker 800XP, Learjet 60, Citation X, Citation Excel, Challenger 300 and Challenger 601-3R. 
Combining speed (the Citation X can fly from Los Angeles to New York in less than four hours) and distance (The Challenger 300 has a range of 3,500 miles, making it an ideal aircraft for longer flights and Hawaii itineraries), the planes are ideal for getting you to and fro in maximum style and comfort.
