Jetsetters summering in Monte Carlo have a fashionable new address for a light, al fresco lunch or a cocktail-infused dinner. Star chef Joel Robuchon-- who recently revealed to The Telegraph his favorite restaurants in the world-- opened his “Odyssey” eatery at the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, decorated with a mural by none other than designer Karl Lagerfeld. Inspired by Homer's classic poems the Iliad and the Odyssey, the mural is a key feature at the new swimming pool lounge and eatery, which is the third for Robuchon at the hotel.
During the day, guests can tuck into Mediterranean dishes like Octopus Salad while soaking up the sun. In the evening, the lounge welcomes night owls with creative cocktails, small plates, and a DJ-spun soundtrack. For more information, visit www.metropole.com.
