Kristoff Ball To Open New Music-Influenced Hair Salon In Beverly Hills

Kristoff Ball will open a new salon in Beverly Hills, in February of 2012, which will reflect a glam punk rock vibe and have a more intimate setting. This is the second Kristoff Ball salon, the first being in Malibu, and both salons reflect the owner’s personality and background. Kristoff Ball and Michael Robin, his partner and friend, met at Fred Segal Beauty in Santa Monica. Both have musical backgrounds, with Robin touring with Johnny Cash and Ball opening for No Doubt. These musical experiences helped to influence the interior design of the salon, including: custom-designed stations, with “Hollywood” style chairs with chrome armrests, oversized mirrors, wood walls for privacy, backyard rope swings with black leather and artwork and photographs from Kristoff’s personal collection.

All of the hair treatments at the salon are environmentally safe, approved by Kristoff’s client and friend, Erin Brockovich. He believes in simple, casual styles, but also understands how to work with “Beverly Hills hair”. He will also work with his family at the salon, with his wife, Cassandra, and his son, Noriel, as his assistant. His goal is to make the salon a place where stylists can learn and grow and eventually become owners themselves. He also plans on opening an in-house agency for his stylists called the Ball Agency.

The Kristoff Ball Salon in Beverly Hills will offer haircuts, a blow dry option, color treatments, highlights, conditioning treatments, manicures and eyebrow shaping. It will be open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
