We’re pleased as punch about the summer debut of The Langham Chicago. And today marks another fun day in Chitown, as the luxury hotel officially opens the door to its Chuan Spa. From London to Beijing, the Langham’s signature spa concept has garnered a devoted clientele for treatments based on the healing principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Like the Langham’s flagship in London, the Chicago hotel’s spa is an expansive, zen-like space that features a gorgeous, 67-foot swimming pool.
Prior to their pampering sessions, guests get access to a circuit of pools, saunas (one lined with Himalayan salt stone, the other infused with herbs), experience showers, and aromatic steam rooms in the “Chuan Bathing Ritual.” The spa also has a fully-equipped fitness room. Tip: We hear that the Polynesian Spa Ritual is a top treatment, combining a body scrub with Lomi Lomi.
The Chuan Spa is open Monday to Friday 6am-10pm, and Saturday and Sunday 7am-10pm. For more information, visit chicago.langhamhotels.com
