London to Get New Apple Store in Harrods

Here's a scoop from tech site Gizmodo UK: While Apple recently opened its largest UK store in Covent Garden, the brand will open its next London property in one of the most prestigious department stores in the world: the iconic Harrods, in Knightsbridge.

The store will reportedly have the usual features, but we hear it will lack a Genius Bar. (Perhaps it couldn't get a Genius license?) 9to5Mac suggests that Apple may have wanted to keep the marquee aspect of retail operations exclusive to standalone locations. The store will reportedly be significantly smaller than the standalone shops.
