For the winter ski season, fashionable Gstaad is the place to be. The Swiss ski resort welcomed its first new-build five-star hotel in 100 years: the Alpina Gstaad. The town itself is celebrating its 700th birthday. And Louis Vuitton has opened a “winter resort” that resembles a traditional Swiss chalet- complete with lounge and fireplace. Shoppers can glide into this “ski-in” boutique fresh from the slopes, and pick up some of the luxury brand’s signature leather goods, travel accessories, and ready-to-wear items.
The chic boutique is located on Gstaad’s famous “Promenade.” Regular store hours are 9:30 am -6:30 pm Monday-Friday; 9:30-6 pm on Saturday; 2 pm- 6 pm on Sunday.
