Luxury camping is nothing new, but luxury camping in the Stockholm archipelago is certainly something to catch our attention.
So we're particularly intrigued by the Island Lodge, which will open this season on the island of Bergholmen, just a 40-minute boat ride from central Stockholm.
The lodge has seven tents located on selected premium spots on the island with top views over the archipelago. No sleeping bags here: The tents all have beds along with a wood stove and kerosene lamps to keep the space bright. Guests can unwind in the dining tent or in the wood-fired hot tub. Popular activities on the island include hiking, sailing and fishing.
