Luxury hotels are getting all dolled up for the holidays- some with designer Christmas trees, some with winter gardens (and outdoor cinemas). In Boston, the Mandarin Oriental has introduced a pop-up Afternoon Tea lounge for the yuletide season. Located in the Lobby Lounge, the Parlor will be open from 2 pm- 6 pm daily for tea by the fire. (Hot chocolate, apple cider, and hot toddies also available, of course.)
A Holiday Treat Trolley will serve up decorate-your-own gingerbread men, tea sandwiches, and sweet pastries.
