Mira MoonHong Kong, hold on to your hats. Design guru Marcel Wanders is coming to town. And if you like the look of the Andaz Amsterdam (another Wanders creation), you'll be itching to book a room at the Mira Moon when it opens in September. This is the first hotel project for Wanders in partnership with architecture firm Yoo, and it promises to be a stunner.

The style is contemporary and dramatic, drawing inspiration from an ancient Chinese fairytale. Located in the Wan Chai District, Mira Moon is within walking distance to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and Hong Kong Arts Centre. This is the sister property to the stylish Mira Hong Kong in Kowloon, a favorite of trendsetting business travelers.

Much smaller in size (only 91 guest rooms as opposed to Mira Hong Kong's 492), Mira Moon will have a restaurant and secret garden. Mira Moon is a member of Design Hotels. For more information, visit www.miramoonhotel.com.
