New Beach Resort Announced for Turkey

Do you have clients heading to Turkey next summer? They'll want to check out Aegean Breeze at Alaçati, a five-star, contemporary beach destination resort that will break ground on the western coast of Turkey this year, with a grand opening planned in summer 2012.

The concept design includes three main components: a large-scale marine park with state-of-the-art pools and refreshment areas; an 80-room boutique luxury hotel featuring retail, restaurants and a thermal spa; and 120 beach villas situated in a private enclave for long-term residents. Several expansive tensile fabric roofs create an identity for the resort while providing shade and visual impact for visitors throughout its public spaces.

We've heard Alaçati described as an "up-and-coming vacation hotspot," 48 miles from the city of Izmir, Turkey, and 14 miles from Chios, Greece. Amenities at Aegean Breeze at Alaçati will include:

·         Marine park including mountain feature, flumes, wave pool and children’s pool
·         80 guest rooms
·         120 villas
·         Spa, fitness and wellness centers
·         Piazza with bar, grille and pavilions
·         Themed and regional restaurants
·         Amphitheater
·         Visitors center for day visitors and bus arrivals
·         Beachside and deck-side cabanas
