We love Waikiki as much as the next Hawaii aficionado, but one word we wouldn't use to describe the ever-exciting beach is "peaceful." (Not that that's a bad thing, of course!)
Visitors who need a break from all the hub and the bub of Waikiki should head down to the trendy Waikiki Beach Walk and the newly opened Aloha Harmony Tea House, which offers 86 different loose-leaf teas from around the world. Guests can take their tea on the shop's lanai (whether hot or iced) or get a tea latte or smoothie to go. (But really, that rather defeats the whole purpose of a relaxing tea break, doesn't it? Stay in and unwind for a bit.) Bonus: The shop also offers fresh-baked snacks, just like a real Asian teahouse.
