New Boutique Property Opens Close to Monte Carlo

Fifteen minutes from Monte Carlo on the Cote de Azur, a new luxury boutique hotel, Chateau Eza, has just reopened this season after a total renovation. Maintaining the original structure, the renovation pays homage to the history of the building while incorporating the modern amenities expected by travelers today.

A former residence to a Swedish Prince, many of the 10 intimate rooms and suites of this 400 year old Chateau offer seascape views, private balconies and terraces, Jacuzzis or deep soaking tubs. The renovation incorporated modern features such as in-floor heating, and restoration practices maintained exposed ancient wooden beams and rare parquet hardwood floors.

At the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, visitors can see from Cap Ferrat to St. Tropez on a clear day. The glass enclosed restaurant provides views of the sparkling azure waters of the Cote d'Azur. Menus change regularly based on the seasons, and highlight ingredients from the region. Gourmands can enjoy the freshest fish, lamb and duck year round, white asparagus in the spring and wild strawberries from the forest in the summer.

Those who simply want to relax can enjoy the private beach Ajuna on Eze Bord de Mer, available to guests of the hotel.
