The New Johnnie Walker Blue Bar at Gleneagles Hotel

Gleneages Hotel

Scotland’s famous five-star hideaway, The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, will be unveiling a swank new bar in its newly renovated Dormy Clubhouse in September. Johnnie Walker has had a long association with Gleneagles, so it’s only natural that the new Blue Bar will serve up Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky (and plenty of molecular cocktails-- showing the versatility of whisky!) Designed as an outdoor/indoor space, the bar has a courtyard with a central gazebo, overhanging sails and a feature fireplace surrounded by bespoke heated sofas.

To celebrate the bar’s debut, Gleneagles is throwing a bash on both Friday, September 23 and Friday, September 30 with a whisky tasting paired with unique canapés using ingredients sourced from the four corners of the world. For this special event, room rates are available for just £425 per room per night. One of Gleneagle's highly trained whisky ambassadors will be hosting the events. While staying at Gleneagles, don’t miss some Michelin-starred magic at Andrew Fairlie’s fabulous restaurant. After all, he’s one of the top chefs in Scotland.
