New in Scotland: The Glen Affric Estate by Eden Rock (St. Barths)

The Glen Affric Estate, Scotland

The Glen Affric Estate, ScotlandEver experience the ultra-luxe villas at Eden Rock in St. Barths? Soon you’ll be able to get a taste of Eden Rock glam in the unlikeliest of places: a glen in the Scottish Highlands. As we first reported a few years ago, Eden Rock Estates bought up a Victorian hunting lodge in Inverness-shire called Glen Affric Estate, and they’ve been busy transforming it into an exclusive eight-bedroom villa for the celebrity set.

Opening in April, the Glen Affric Estate is set on 10,000 beautiful acres of a National Nature Reserve and has its own trout loch (a fly-fishing enthusiast’s dream). The Scotsman on Sunday has the skinny: "Welcome to the super glen. It boasts butlers, French chefs, is modelled on an £86,000-a-week Caribbean villa and can be found about 30 miles from Inverness.”

As a sister property to Eden Rock’s Nina and Rockstar Villas on the Caribbean isle, the Scottish lodge will be run by an experienced hospitality team from St. Barths- and French chefs will be flown in to cater fabulous feasts. For more information, see the website: www.glenaffricestate.com
