Now Open in Marrakech: Palais Namaskar with its Private Jet

The Palais Namaskar officially opened its doors on April 6 and the Internet clamor has yet to die down. The desert resort in Marrakech is the first property outside of Europe for the Oetker Collection, the prestigious hospitality company behind Le Bristol and Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. It’s a “12-acre paradise of gilded domes and scalloped arches in Marrakech’s Palmeraie oasis,” says Architectural Digest. “The Moghul-inspired resort is a kingdom unto itself—with the Atlas Mountains serving as a backdrop.”

Surrounded by landscaped gardens and cascading pools, the Palais Namaskar has 41 villas and suites (many with private pools), plus a lavish, 7,000-square-foot spa and lovely dining options. But perhaps the best perk of all: The 14-seat Falcon 900 LX jet (pictured), which is decked out with a dining table, king-size bed and top-notch sound system. Not only does the private jet take guests on the 30-minute flight to Casablanca, it can also be chartered for trips to New York, Moscow, or Dubai, reports The Globe and Mail.
