Palm Beach Rising: Newly Renovated Resorts

The Palm Beaches is never at a loss for luxury hotels and resorts and the best part is, these properties are always upgrading to keep up with discerning travelers.

PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens has just wrapped up a multimillion-dollar renovation providing brand new guestrooms and suites, a new arrival experience, lobby, lobby bar, and new signature dining experiences highlighting two of South Florida’s Top Chef Alumni, Jeremy Ford and Lindsay Autry, also a James Beard nominee. With multiple award-winning designers on the project, the resort has revamped its 40,000-square-foot destination spa.

It also has a new 18-hole golf course, named The Match, and a new Par 3 nine-hole course, called The Staple. The resort also now has a high-end Chocolatier, Ice Cream Shop and Kids Club.

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan has also completed an extensive, multimillion-dollar revamp—of its culinary outlets and social spaces. On offer now are a variety of new food and beverage outposts, a reinvented pool experience, and a kid’s club. The new design pays homage to vintage Palm Beach glamour.

Elsewhere, The Boca Raton, previously known as the Boca Raton Resort and Club, has a $200 million makeover ahead in the works for its 100th anniversary. The project includes Harborside Pool Club, with three pools, a 450-foot floating river, water slides, luxury cabanas with personalized butler service, a Pool Bar serving cocktails and light bites, the Banyan Bunch kids club, and more. A highlight is Principessa, a new lakefront restaurant.

The 27-story Tower, opening this fall, is being completely reconfigured and renovated, with all new guestrooms—130 suites, 10 executive suites, and a presidential suite—and a lounge on the top level with views of the city, ocean, and Intracoastal Waterway.

The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach is undergoing major renovations to its 154 guestrooms. Along with a full public-space redesign, the property will add new restaurant and lounge concepts. In addition, the Beach Club will be redesigned to create a beach, pool, and culinary experience for both members and resort guests.
