Philippe Starck-designed Port Opens in Spain

Luxury blog Luxuo has a great look at the newly expanded Port Adriano in Spain's Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands.

French designer Philippe Starck oversaw the enlargement and remodeling of the port's commercial area (his first port project, for the record), and we hear the site will become a haven for superyachts in the Mediterranean, thanks to the addition of 82 berths (ranging from 66 feet to 262 feet) and the possibility to offer even larger berth spaces during summer. The refit yard will be able to accommodate vessels up to 131 feet in length.

The port will also be home to major businesses like Yacht Moments, Sunseeker and Princess.
