Provence Golf Club Sets up Training Center


Heads up, golfers: The new Albatros Golf Performance Center at Terre Blanche Golf Club, Four Seasons Resort Provence is being hailed as Europe’s most complete golf facility. The training center lets all golfers, regardless of experience levels, learn golfing techniques, perfect their swing and train in optimal conditions.

Features at the Center include:

    * Sixty-five practice mats, half indoors and lit on the ground floor, and half outdoors on the first floor
    * Training areas that are heated in winter and equipped with Dartfish video analysis tools
    * An indoor putting green with SAM Putt Lab (Science and Motion), putting analysis system
    * Two outdoor putting greens
    * Two chipping greens/approach greens with bunkers
    * A bunker for long strokes
    * Grass practice area
    * Fitness room
    * Meeting room
    * Golf simulator “About Golf”
    * David Leadbetter Golf Academy, managed by Alain Alberti, open all year, with a large range of programs (group or individual lessons, accompanied courses and training courses) for players of all ages and levels, including beginners, amateurs, golf school or PGA professionals
    * BioMecaSwing assessment, managed by Jean-Jacques Rivet; a center that uses scientific knowledge of biomechanics combined with modern technology; in taking into account each golfer's morphology and personal ability, this system enables the posture, mobility, balance and intensity of each movement the golfer makes to be analyzed so that they can adapt and optimize their game
    * Taylor Made Pro shop and showroom for hiring clubs, trying out equipment, repairs and maintenance, calibrating or even defining and manufacturing tailor-made equipment (fitting)
