Master Punta Mita developer DINE along with several Punta Mita resorts announced the ticket sales for the seventh annual American Express Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Classic. The event takes place from November 30 to December 3, and will highlight Punta Mita’s two Jack Nicklaus golf courses. Also of note will be the destination’s many culinary options. In partnership with American Express, the weekend plans to celebrate all facets of the destination: its resorts, real estate, golf courses, wine and cuisine.
Punta Mita resorts and organizations affiliated with the announcement include The St. Regis Punta Mita, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Convention Bureau.
The event opens with the Punta Mita Golf Challenge from Golf Digest, where renowned Mexican golfers Lorena Ochoa and Craig Stadler will compete in a four-hole event across Punta Mita’s Course Pacifico. Aeromexico will then provide the Opening Night Dinner at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, where the culinary team there will welcome Gourmet & Golf veteran Richard Sandoval, Atlanta chef Ford Fry and the Riviera Nayarit’s own, chef Betty Vasquez.
The next day has a variety of day-long golf events for guests along with a special luncheon at the Kupuri Beach Club Punta Mita. A pre-dinner sunset cocktail takes place at Four Seasons Punta Mita in a private villa with celebrity chef Leslie Durso. Dinner events are also hosted at the Four Seasons, with a number of guest and celebrity chefs catering.
The two-day golf event concludes for tournament participants on Saturday with the Punta Mita Golf Cup Prizegiving Luncheon. Tournament winners will be awarded and then Travel + Leisure will host the closing gala dinner, beachside at the St. Regis Punta Mita. On Sunday, Kupuri Beach Club will host guests for a gourmet farewell brunch.

- Gourmet & Golf Package plus three-night stay: $1,999 per person, including ground transportation to/from the event and two rounds of golf or two 60 minute massages.
