The Reverie Saigon, slated to open in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, will have 286 rooms and suites.
Vietnam is readying itself for a new luxury resort, slated to debut in early 2015. The Reverie Saigon, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, will open in the 39-floor Times Square building in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1.
The Reverie Saigon will have 286 rooms and suites, as well as five dining and nightlife options, with restaurants ranging from Cantonese to Italian cuisine. We hear the bar counter will be one of the longest in the world, measuring a city block, so night owls will surely have a place to flock and roost. There will also be an outdoor pool, spa and fitness center, 16 function spaces, a helipad (for those real A-listers), and a fleet of high-end vehicles (think Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragons).

Another hot spot for VIPs is the JW Marriott Hanoi, which opened its doors late last year. The hotel itself covers 800,000 square feet and has 450 guest rooms, including 56 suites, a spa and six food-and-beverage outlets. Antidote is the chic lounge serving up cocktails and a DJ-spun soundtrack.
River cruisers can also check out Pandaw’s newest sailing, a 10-night Halong Bay and Red River cruise. The itinerary will launch in July 2015, offering guests the chance to explore the limestone islands in Halong Bay before traveling to the remote upper Red River. Guests will also visit floating villages and a floating school. Best part? The 16-suite Angkor Pandaw is full of five-star amenities and has a 2:1 crew-to-passenger ratio.
