Rome Cavalieri Package Centers on Karl Lagerfeld

Fans of Karl Lagerfeld will want to book the Rome Cavalieri, a member of The Waldorf Astoria Collection, which has launched a package in honor of the Chiostro del Bramante’s latest photography exhibition, “Karl Lagerfeld: Working Path.” The hotel's Penthouse and Planetarium Suites feature a series of sofas designed by Lagerfeld for his Paris home, which were purchased at auction through Sotheby’s in Monte Carlo and is the inspiration for the special offer.

From now until April 10, 2011, guests booking one of Rome Cavalieri’s four super suites may request the following:

Complimentary transportation to/from Chiostro del Bramante.
VIP access to the Karl Lagerfeld photography exhibit.
Two complimentary cocktails from Rome Cavalieri’s Art Cocktail Menu.

Rome Cavalieri’s four super suites include the Penthouse, Planetarium, Petronius and Napoleon suites and feature either contemporary or classical design and private balconies or terraces. In addition to Lagerfeld’s couches, other prized pieces from the hotel’s art collection placed throughout the suites include series of paintings from Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana.

After a run at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, “Karl Lagerfeld: Working Path” is the first exhibit to highlight the fashion photography and artistry of the fashion designer. The exhibit showcases a large number of photos taken by Karl Lagerfeld since 1987, focusing on fashion, portraits, landscapes, architecture and more.
