Rosewood London to Open October 15

Rosewood LondonThe big day is just around the corner for Rosewood London. A century-old Edwardian building in London’s Bloomsbury neighborhood has been given a new lease on life with a $130 renovation, and will reopen as a luxury hotel on October 15. Arrival sets the tone for a grand guest experience; the original carriageway gates open into a beautiful courtyard, behind which the Grand Pavonazzo marble staircase awaits.

There will be 262 guest rooms and 44 suites- including eight Signature Suites, 21 Grand Premier Suites and 15 Premier Suites. For a true VIP experience, note that the Grand Manor House Wing offers six bedrooms and 6,295 square feet of living space.

Guests can take afternoon tea in The Mirror Room, and sip whiskeys and cocktails in the bar, which is reminiscent of a gentlemen’s club. The Holborn Dining Room opens in February 2014 with a traditional British menu and attached deli. Other facilities include a grand ballroom, meeting rooms, a fitness room, and Sense spa.
