Courtesy of a whirlwind of maintenance and construction work, the resort now features a host of upgrades to its Villa Alba as well as a brand-new helipad for jet-setting VIPs.

In Villa Alba, upgrades included exterior remodeling, with two extensions; conversion of the kitchen into a second bedroom suite; new tiled floors throughout; a new master bath with a panoramic shower and an indoor garden; new exterior colors; and a new front deck. Nice Touch: Royal Belize is now also home to two new plunge pools.

Situated on a private Caribbean island, Royal Belize is the epitome of exclusivity in an unspoiled setting of tropical beauty and absolute privacy, where VIPs are immersed in luxurious indulgence in one of three bespoke casitas serviced by a dedicated and discreet staff.

Nice Touch: Royal Belize is available for booking by only one party at a time, ensuring the ultimate in serenity amid top-class natural attractions. Note: Royal Belize is situated within a World Heritage Site and the South Water Caye Marine Reserve, roughly nine miles off the central coast of Belize.

Above and Beyond: Some over-the-top requests that this resort has met for its VIPs in the past include providing a commercial-grade fireworks display for the last night of a honeymooning couple’s vacation; granting a wildlife photographer’s request to swim with manatees in an area also known for an abundant crocodile population; organizing a game of “Capture the Flag” for a family who wanted a Survivor-type experience; and providing a tapas-style menu of gaming meats for a VIP who wanted to try such unusual delicacies as snakes, river turtles, deer and more.
