Back in 2008, Sofia Coppola designed her very own “dream bag” for Louis Vuitton, and the SC became an instant hit. Now the calfskin leather bag is back for the 2013 season. The designer created a limited-edition SC bag just for Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche- the landmark department store on the Left Bank in Paris that’s one of her favorite addresses. The new bag, explains Vogue, has “fuchsia pink color pop piping meticulously applied by Louis Vuitton artisans echoing its similarly vibrant lining.”
To honor the occasion (and showcase the new collection), Sofia Coppola has designed the 10 shop windows at Le Bon Marché. The mise en scène is bright , cheerful, exuberant, and feminine; think oversized peonies, hearts, and fawns- with lots of neon pink. On display until October 26, 2013.
