The Plaza Hotel hosts a New Year’s Eve premium event in the private dining space, The Plaza Food Hall by Todd English. The event from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. will serve top shelf open bar, host a prosecco toast at midnight and have a DJ spinning in the new year.
The menu will include a raw bar with oysters, shrimp, lobster, clams and mussels, mini lobster salad on toasted brioche and mini crab cakes, cheese boards, pasta tasting with assorted small plates, pizzas including black truffle, golden potato with caviar and crème fraiche and fig and prosciutto, sushi with the chef’s selection of hand rolls, sashimi and seaweed salad, a carvery with prime rib and wild boar sliders and a dessert bar.

The following day the Food Hall will host a football viewing party on two plasma TV screens. The menu will include mini-calzones, IPA steamers, a slider tasting, sweet and spicy wings and oyster shooters. The venue will take reservations beginning at 11 a.m. Call 212-986-9260.
