Located in the heart of the Andheri Kurla business district just north of Mumbai,  The Swissotel Grand Mumbai will offer 300 guest rooms, executive rooms and suites. The Swissotel flagship project will boast massive grounds, including 17222 square feet of conference and banqueting facilities and a 5381 square foot main ballroom. The Purovel Spa & Sport center will serve as a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.

According to Meinhard Huck, president of Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, "India is the world's second-largest nation and the numbers involved are huge. India is set to become the world's third-largest economy by 2020 and consumer demand, particularly in the cities, is continually rising. A robust domestic tourism industry coupled with the increasing global nature of Indian businesses is boosting business travel and providing a very healthy platform for the growth of the hospitality industry."

The Andheri Kurla area features new shops and restaurants as well as a new metro line making Swissotel Grand Mumbai strategically located with easy access to the international airport.
