U.S. Open Tickets Go on Sale

For two weeks every summer, New York becomes a Mecca for tennis fans when the U.S. Open takes over Queens. Tickets went on sale to the general public today for the tournament, which is set for August 29 through September 11.

According to NewYorkology, Delta Airlines and the New York Water have provided free ferry service to the US Open in past years, but no announcement has been made about 2011.
