Winter Rooftop Cinema at The Berkeley, London

The Berkeley, Paris

Baby, it’s cold outside... Time to cuddle up with blankets and a hot toddy and catch a winter classic on the big screen. The Berkeley in London has converted their rooftop terrace into a winter wonderland with pine trees twinkling with lights and an outdoor cinema-- a magical spot high above Knightsbridge. Take a seat (there are only four!), nestled beneath Moncler blankets, fluffy cushions and hot water bottles. Order up a home-made hot chocolate with marshmallows and Berkeley mince pie- the perfect accompaniment for watching movies like “Miracle on 34th Street.” And if it gets really cold, there are heat lamps available to ward off the chill. The special Winter Wonderland cinema package--available until January 31, 2012-- is priced at £55 per person, and reservations can be made by calling +44 (0)20 7201 1699 or emailing [email protected]. (Movie tickets are available for non-hotel guests on weekdays only and includes full access to the movie theatre at either the 5.P.M. or 7 P.M. seating, weather permitting. Weekend screenings are reserved for resident guests only.)
