Foodies: mark your calendars. You won’t want to miss Ultimo, one of Las Vegas’ most extravagant culinary events of the year, hosted by The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas. This year’s theme, Le Grand Voyage, will take place December 9-11.

The fourth-annual event will include feasts and experiences from an all-star line-up of chefs and wineries from around the world. The event will take guests on a “grand voyage” around The Venetian and The Palazzo, and for the first time ever, across the Las Vegas valley. Perhaps the best part of the event is that a portion of the proceeds will benefit ment’or BKB Foundation, a leading non-profit organization devoted to inspiring culinary excellence in young professionals and preserving the traditions and quality of cuisine in America. Who doesn’t want to give back just by eating?

New to this year’s event include a variety of unique experiences like a Rolls-Royce driving experience, a hot-air balloon ride and a Dom Perignon picnic at Red Rock Canyon National Recreational Area. A Louis Vuitton fashion experience will also be held at the resort’s new boutique in Grand Canal Shoppes.

A highlight of the weekend is sure to be the return of The Venetian’s Grand Banquet, a collaboration between several of the world’s best chefs that originated in 2013. This year, the involved chefs will be representing different cuisines from around the world representing each chef’s country of origin. Participating chefs include Jerome Bocuse, representing France; Curtis Stone, representing Australia; Shaun Hergatt, representing Australia; Ming Tsai, representing Asia; Vikram Vij, representing India; Pierre Thiam representing Africa; Paul Bartolotta representing Italy and Emma Bengtsson representing Sweden.  Leading the group will be Chef Thomas Keller. The table this year will be adorned with pieces from Lalique, a known legend of glass art. Pairings for the culinary experience include Dom Perignon, DAOU Vineyards, Marques de Murrieta, Memento Mori and Pio Cesare.

Winemakers in attendance at this year’s event include Pio Cesare; Vincente Dalmau Cebrian-Sagarriga, Count of Creixell; Daniel and Georges Daou; Hayes Drumwright, Adriel Lares and Adam Craun; as well as an ambassador of Dom Perignon.
