Berlin Looks to the Luxury Sector

Berlin is stepping up its marketing in the luxury travel sector, with a new initiative by 14 high-end hotels designed to spread the word about all the city has to offer.

Dubbed Berlin Premium, the program highlights properties with the most luxurious spas, the best Michelin-starred restaurants and the most elegant and unique architecture, as well as all that the German capital itself has to offer to the most refined of guests.

In a city known for its haute cuisine, beautiful palaces and UNESCO Heritage Sites—not to mention the largest department store in Europe—the 14 properties offer travel advisors and their guests the promise of unique and elegant accommodations and first-class service. They are:

  • Grand Hyatt Berlin, with a magnificent location at Potsdamer Platz, near the Brandenburg Gate; contemporary art and a rooftop terrace
  • Hotel Adlon Kempinski, right next to the Brandenburg Gate, with the largest suite in Germany and a two-star Michelin restaurant
