First Look: Two Renovated Suites at New Orleans' Saint Hotel

In New Orleans' revered French Quarter, the Saint Hotel (a member of the Autograph Collection) has just updated five suites. The suites (named after Michael, Lucifer, Christopher, Gabriel and Raphael) make up the entire second floor of the property and include two “master suites.”

Designed by the property’s owner, Mark Wyant and his wife Lorenda, the suites include touches like Murano glass chandeliers and clawfoot bathtubs in each bathroom. Cool tech touch: Each suite has at least two 60-inch TVs, and several have hidden TVs that rise out of the furniture. (It's convenient to have them out of the way when not needed.)

The Saint Hotel’s two 1,800 square foot master suites, named for the opposing Archangels Michael and Lucifer, have living and entertainment spaces, as well as a bar and in-room ice maker. The two-bedroom two-bathroom Archangel Michael Suite has 10 floor-to-ceiling windows for plenty of natural light. It also has a kitchen with a stainless-steel microwave and full-size refrigerator. (There's also a dining room table for four.)

The Archangel Lucifer Suite also has two bedrooms as well as two-and-a-half bathrooms, but this suite includes plenty of dark marble and red walls for a moodier atmosphere. (Still, the eight floor-to-ceiling windows will keep the space from getting too gloomy.) The suite has lots of antique Victorian pieces and a private stage equipped with a dance pole, stage lighting and music. There's also a sparkling mirror ball above the stage. (Great for random dance parties, we say.)
