Oetker Collection to Open L’Apogée Courchevel in the French Alps

We’re eagerly anticipating the opening of Le Bristol Abu Dhabi in 2013, and now the Oetker Collection has given us another reason to welcome la nouvelle année: the luxury hotel group has announced plans to debut another new hotel in the glam ski destination of Courchevel in the French Alps.

Slated for December 11, 2013, L’Apogée Courchevel (www.lapogeecourchevel.com) will have just 33 suites, 20 double rooms, and a stunning penthouse with its own terrace and Jacuzzi overlooking Courchevel. (We bet the world’s jetsetters are already standining in line for these digs, decorated by star designer India Mahdavi.)

There will be a fine dining restaurant helmed by Michelin two-star Chef Yannick Franques, a spa and wellness center, swimming pool, and a large terrace for outdoor dining. Get this- a private ski lift will provide guests with immediate access to the mountain slopes. The hotel will be helmed by Philippe Perd, the Managing Director of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Chateau Saint-Martin Hotel in the south of France. For the ultimate in privacy and luxury, L'Apogée will offer an exclusive five-bedroom chalet situated next to the hotel.

Oetker Collection owns Le Bristol Paris, Brenners Park in Baden-Baden, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d'Antibes and Chateau Saint-Martin and Spa in Vence. It also manages Palais Namaskar in Marrakech and Saint-Barth Isle-de-France in the French West Indies. For more information, visit www.oetkercollection.com
